Can’t delete/change recurring event that I myself put in calendar

I keep track of everything in my calendar. When a haircut schedule (or anything else) changes I’ve always successfully used the “save for future events” feature. I’m talking about many years of using this function. Since the last couple of iOS updates this function no longer works, requiring deleting/changing each individual entry. (I don’t remember with which update this occurred) THIS IS MADDENING!

I even called Apple support. The rep said “Of course you have to change each event - that’s how it works”. What?! Has she not had an iPhone in the past??

I saw many entries on the previous thread about events populated to calendar from outlook etc. That is not my issue. These are ALL things that I have entered.

Is this a known issue that will get fixed with subsequent updates? I certainly hope so.

If it’s not working, close the app and restart your phone
