Black Boxes on my iPhotos

This morning when I went back to a photo to finish editing my photos, black boxes started to show up on photos. How do I remove this?

It might be a problem with an incompatible color profile, if you edited the photo in an external editor or an older version of Photos, iPhoto, or Aperture. In that case try, if reverting the photo to the original will help. Select the Photo and use the command "Image > Revert to original" (in Photos 6) or click the "Revert to Original" button , when the photo is open in Edit mode (in Photos 1 to Photos 5).
