Screen Time and In-App purchases

Hi All.'

I have an iPhone where installing of apps is disabled.

However, I still have in-App purchases enabled.

So when the phone is blocked, i cannot access the app store to browse and install apps however I would still think that I would be able to make purchases for the apps already installed on my device.

This however is not the case.

Is there any workaround for this?
