MacBook Pro is very laggy when watching/streaming movies?? Help!!!!!

Hi all,

I need some help with my 13" MacBook Pro (2017 model)

Whenever I open a local movie or when I steam it on amazon/netflix/YouTube the video is lagging. does anyone know how to fix this issue?

If I stream the same video on my iPad everything runs smooth.
