If I backup my iPhone to iCloud will the previous backup get deleted?

I backed up all of my data from my iPhone 8plus to iCloud, including photos.

Then I reset my iPhone and didn’t restore the backup because it was taking a lot of time.

Now I can see all of my photos but they are in the iCloud drive and I need to download them if I need to use the originals. But the backup for this iPhone is turned off in the settings.

Now if I turn it on and backup my iPhone again will the recent data (including the photos that I took after my reset) merge with the old data or will all of that be overwritten?

It will be overwritten.
