I recently purchase a 4th generation IPOD. The IPOD will not play music when connected to Bose speaker dock station.

Have you tried to restart the iPod? Often this simple step will refresh the apps and software on the device to solve numerous problems you may encounter.


Does the Bose speaker work with other devices? If you're unsure and have another device available to test with, you may want to check to be sure. Does the iPod work with other devices that use the same connection type? Checking will help to isolate the cause of the issue.
