Thunderbolt and USB-Ethernet adapter problems! No more recognised - macOS Big Sur

Hi,

I write about some problem! I work on a MacBook pro 15" Retina, mid 2014, with mac OS Big Sur 11.1.

I have not worked with my 2 external monitor (Philips 244E) for a while.

I have always connected the monitors to the 2 Thunderbolt ports on the computer (I use DVI-Thunderbolt adapters). Everything has always worked very well.

PROBLEM 1: This morning one of the two doors was no longer working. I plugged in, unplugged and plugged back in several times and even restarted the computer and manually synchronized the monitor. I tried until the second monitor was up and running all day. I don't know how I made this!!

A while ago I disconnected and then tried to reconnect and it doesn't work again!

PROBLEM 2: I also have another problem. I use a USB 3.0 Ethernet adapter (Digitus DN-3023) to connect to the network, but even that doesn't work anymore. Before, it worked perfectly.

Also in the system preferences> network I no longer see "Ethernet" in the list on the left.

Could it be a hardware defect, a broken socket or something? If so, however, I don't understand why it worked over a long period

I need your Help

Thank you.

It looks like that Driver needs more work. It appeared to crash due to code signature invalid, which should not occur in well-crafted software. You may want to ask the maker about that.

You may want to consider replacing that device with an Ethernet adapter that does not require a Driver at all. One big advantage of that is that the device will be available in Recovery mode and for Installing software from Recovery.
