I recently got a MacBook Pro and every time I log into my account random software will launch as soon as I’m on my account. It’s software I haven’t used, like the podcasts, calendar or messages software will launch and I have not messed with them. Could I possibly have malware?

Check to see what Login Items you have selected & configured. Open the User & Groups pane in the System Preferences and click on the Login Items tab:

Run EtreCheck and post the report here using the "Additional Text" icon which looks like a piece of paper.
I watched a YouTube video and checked this and I had nothing selected or configured.
