I can't work in Chrome - keeps crashing and unable to restore pages. Any solutions? I'm on a 2020 m1 13" MacBook pro, Big Sur v 11, Chrome Version 88.0.4324.96 (Official Build) (arm64) Any solutions?

Not only is Chrome crashing for me too, but I have a problem with images not showing up on almost every website. See my Chrome screenshot where nothing shows up. I have the same Big Sur version and Chrome build (but x86_64) on my older MBP and there are no issues. This is related somehow to the M1. Apple, please help. Frustrating to 'upgrade' your machine and not be able to use Chrome at all.
I have this issue too, along with images not rendering. I think I'm going to return this machine and go back to my old Macbook Air :/
you have to turn off hardware acceleration in settings on chrome. Its in settings scroll to the bottom click advanced and then its under the system tab.
