Can I connect a Mac Mini and MacBook Pro to one Apple Thunderbolt Display?

Is it possible to have a Mac Mini and MacBook Pro connected to one Thunderbolt Display? I'm not wanting split screen or anything, I just want an easier way to go from my personal computer to my work laptop. Is there a splitter/dongle of some sort? Or will I have to just manually unplug and plug each time? Thanks in advance!

Mac mini, macOS 11.1

It should work if only one computer at a time is turned on. Plug the Display's Thunderbolt cable into one computer, and connect the second computer to the Thunderbolt port at the back of the display with a Thunderbolt cable.

If it's a Thunderbolt 3 port on a computer, it will need a Thunderbolt 3 adapter.

If the MacBook Pro uses Thunderbolt 3/USB-C, you can charge it from the display with a MagSafe adapter.
