IKEA Tradfri work with Apple Homekit?
How well does the IKEA home automation like Tråfri work with apple homekit? Primary concern is the Fyrtur window blinds, but also considering plugs and lightbulbs. Do I need the Ikea Hub?

I've 27 accessories on the Tradfri Bridge, everything works ok, sometimes the tradfri app crashes, but even when you can't access the tradfri app, the accessories remains operational in HomeKit. Each accessories works perfectly with Home automation, as far as its not battery operated. Only line powered accessories are in HomeKit. I don't own the frytur line.
The only thing I can say it's slow. When I open my Home App, native HomeKit accessories, Hue accessories and even HomeBridge accessories are "online" and display correct state immediately, the Tradfri stuff always come after looooooong seconds of "updating"...
I have a couple of Ikea lights and the bridge. They worked OK until I had some major house renovations and power outages then they became unreliable. So far I haven't tried to troubleshoot them (eg reset etc) as they are not critical devices.
They are certainly an inexpensive way to get into home automation via Homekit and are worth trying out.
I have 1 ikea ac connector with trådfri and 3 bulbs they work fine with homekid, though I've have had to start over with the homekit setup because it became corrupt one time.
Thanks... all it says is works with HomeKit. My question is asking if anyone know how well it works with HomeKit... does anyone have experience using the IKEA home automation solutions via HomeKit/Apple Home?
I've no idea. See what IKEA have to say at https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/product-guides/ikea-home-smart-system/.
