Big Sur installation interrupted

My computer shut down during installation and now my storage is nearly full, and I can't find the downloaded files to either continue the installation or delete and try again. How do I delete the files and try again?l

Big Sur installation failed and wastes large space Hello everyone, I've downloaded Big Sur update and there was 37GB free on the startup disk and after agreeing with the terms it starts to extract the packages to install and suddenly, stopped and I got a message saying "try to install again" and the free space on the disk decreases to 25GB I tried to install it again but it says "do not have enough space" so, I cannot install the update because I lost 12GB and I don't know how to delete the files took this space to install the update. Thanks.

If the download does not complete, but:

If it does leave what looks like a "complete" installer file in the /Applications folder, delete it, and try downloading it again.
If it does not leave an installer in the /Applications folder, it may leave an incomplete/corrupted installer in the /Library/Updates folder. To help locate the partial installer package, try using the following command in the Terminal: lsof | grep <the installer filename>
