file photos in date order

I am unable to file some of my photo albums in date order and the ones that are a problem have a date range {example1966-1920} shown under the album description. I have tried to delete this date range but am unable to do so? All other Albums that don't show this date range and only show the single date of the photos file ok.

The date of these albums are set at there correct date which is the earlier one but they will not move to their correct position in date order

I have problem with 15 our more albums

I have 65K of photos in various albums dating back to 1960 through to present and most are in date order

I had to transfer from I photo to photos as Apple no longer support I photo and cannot remember have this problem before

Any help would be very helpful
