I am running Catalina and want to upgrade to Big Sur, but don't have enough storage. Suggestions?
(I've done as much removal of files as possible to make room)

You could move files to an external drive.
"If upgrading from macOS Sierra or later, macOS Big Sur requires 35.5GB of available storage to
upgrade. If upgrading from an earlier release, macOS Big Sur requires
up to 44.5GB of available storage. To upgrade from OS X Mountain Lion,
first upgrade to OS X El Capitan, then upgrade to macOS Big Sur."

The only other thing you can do is move what you can to an external drive or delete any third-party apps then reinstall them once upgraded.
Put everything you have on ur computer in a file and email it to ur self, then restart ur Mac
