Modern Authentication Fails - Big Sur 11.1 Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 **23 15.0.1497.2

I am getting an error when trying to authenticate Exchange in native Mac OS. Exchange is using modern authentication with 2FA. Everything works up to the point after accepting the 2FA request on my device. This authentication worked in Catalina.

After I validate the 2FA request on my device, MacOS momentarily spins, as if successfully adding the account and then comes back with an error: "The operation couldn't be completed. (com.apple.accounts error 3.)

Any ideas?

I have deleted and references to Exchange and ADAL in keychain.

Hi AgentM,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today. As we're understanding, you're unable to add an exchange account in Big Sur, but the same account could be added in Catalina.

Let's isolate this to either your user account or system-wide by testing inside a new user account. Here's how make one: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac.
