Photos blurry in gallery until zoomed in

Hi,

The photos in the gallery of my iPhone SE 2nd generation appear blurry until they are zoomed in. If I zoom in a take a screenshot of the picture, the screenshot will be clear. This creates problems with uploading pictures to social media because the picture that’s accessed by the app will be blurry. My iCloud is disabled for my pictures, I’m up to date with my iOS, I have tons of storage left, my internet connection is good, my display is standard rather than zoom and I have switched from the camera high efficiency format to the most compatible format. Please help, this is driving me nuts.

We understand that photos you take appear blurry in the Photos app. As of yesterday, the latest iOS update is iOS 14.4. If you haven't already, we recommend backing up and updating: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

I have the exact same problem and I've been going nuts about it! I've been thinking of taking my phone to the service but I'm not sure whether they'll accept it. Can you please let me know if you come up with a solution for this?? You can email me at filip91kv at gmail dot com

Alright, after searching even more and trying stuff out, I think I might have found the solution. Go to Settings - Camera - Formats and change from High Efficiency to Most Compatible. I think it did it for me. I might be tripping though, but worth a try.

I can also confirm that updating the software to 14.4 did NOT solve the problem.

Hi, I’ve tried this as well and it hasn’t fixed the issue! I’ve read and tried about every solution I could find on every thread about this issue and nothing has worked so far. I’m at my wits end.
