I lost my purse this weekend and then remembered that my Apple Watch was inside. The Find my watch led me to someone’s property. Police called and resident denied having it. What can I do? The watch was either turned off or died.

I lost my purse this weekend. What can I do if I tracked my lost Apple Watch that was in my purse to a residence but they denied having it to the police. GPS shows it was last at their residence but now the watch is either dead or was turned off. Is there anything I can do? My AirPods were in my purse as well. This house is also on acreage with no other house around it as shown. Is there anything I can do? The police weren’t helpful at all and believed the resident so the officer obviously doesn’t own an Apple product to know how accurate the gps is when you use “Find my”...
