Hi.
I accidentally turned off iCloud for photos on my Mac. Does anything happen if you turn off iCloud for photos? I have read on the internet that if you turn off iCloud for photos, your files will be deleted after 30 days. Will this happen when I accidentally turned off iCloud for photos, even though it is now turned on again?

It will prompt to enter admin password ( if photo box was unchecked from system preferences ) and in case if iCloud box is turned off from photo preferences , once password is entered the photo box will be again get checked , the photos will again start syncing if previously the settings were according to these articles https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT204264

When I turned off iCloud I did not enter admin password and I didn't have the options shown in your picture.
Instead, it looks like this on my Mac:
The text above the box says "Programs that use iCloud on this Mac".
Does that make a difference or is it the same, even though I did not have to enter admin password?
in system preferences > click on photos 2 or 3 times forcefully the photos box will be unchecked , open photo preferences , the iCloud photos box will get unchecked ( see the third screen shot ) .
Come to system preferences > photos check the box it will prompt to enter admin password .
