Video freezes and I lose the workout

Nearly every time I workout, the video freezes for about 2 minutes... multiple times. Not only does this end up lengthening my workout by 10 minutes or more in the end, but sometimes it never recovers and I TOTALLY lose the workout b/c it ends prematurely. Then I start another workout only to have the same issue.


I do not have this problem with the Peloton app so it’s not my internet connection. I was considering a yearly membership to Apple Fitness but not if this is how it’s going to be.


Also, when I cast to Apple TV, the screen is black with only sound. Very frustrating because I don’t want to do the app on a small phone.

AirPlay is not supported for Apple Fitness+.

Apple TV (4th generation or later) with software tvOS 14.3 or later is listed as being supported for TV screen use, and those models would have their own Fitness app to connect to directly.
