Keyboard acting like command key is stuck

For the second day in a row all of a sudden my keyboard starts behaving as though my command key is always being pressed (but I’m no touching it). For example everything I click on opens in a new tab, if I try to type touching the h key hides the window, touching the v key pastes, touching the a key selects all. When this happened yesterday I restarted the computer but it was still happening and I couldn’t even type my password in upon restarting. It last for about 30 minutes and went back to normal on its own.

Any ideas?

Try cleaning the keyboard using the instructions in this Apple article:

Make sure to keep the can of compressed air upright or you can damage the laptop with the freezing cold liquid propellant that comes out of the can if the can is tilted too much.

Otherwise you will need to have the laptop repaired.
