I have bought a iphone 12 pro max 512gb off someone on ebay. They have given me a receipt/invoice too. the box says ‘space gray’ at the back. But looking online iphone 12pro max only comes in graphite, good, silver and pacific blue.
i have checked serial number which says its a 12 pro max. And so does the invoice.

The A2161 identifies as an iPhone 11 Pro Max.
What do you see at: Settings - General - About - Model = ???
Is that from the serial number on the box, or actually found on the iPhone?
Are you able to check the number on the phone to compare? Are they matching serial numbers?

i want to keep it but im wondering if this is a legit iphone because all iphone 12s are in graphite. But this one is space gray.

Tbh i wanted to keep the phone as a present for my partner till next week. Once he opens it i will check and compare.
