Mail Preferences Window HUGE in Big Sur

Hello

I attempted to open Preferences in Mail after upgrading to Big Sur. The window must be at least 50 times the width of my screen. I have to drag the window to the left or right to get to the center menus or the controls on the left. How do I correct this?
