How do I stop dirty texts to my iPhone from random numbers?

I get daily text messages from different email addresses with sexual links texted to my phone. They do not come as iMessage but rather text message. I’ve tried blocking the email address they are coming from but it’s a different address every day so that doesn’t work. Attached is an example. I read online and it said I can filter messages from known and unknown senders but I don’t want to have to do that because I need to receive messages from unknown senders at times. What can else can I do?

Go to Settings/Messages and scroll down to Unknown & Spam, and turn on Filter Unknown Senders. This will at least put the messages from addresses & numbers not in your contacts into a separate “Unknown Senders" list. You can also install a spam filtering app; there are many in the app store.

For SMS messages that come from a number (phone number or short code) forward the message to 7726 and your carrier will block the number for you and everyone else.

None of my messages are from phone numbers; all from email addresses. I have zero technical knowledge but it seems like they could offer the option of not getting text messages from email addresses. I'm sure the senders would find another way, but at least it would eliminate this option. Life is especially tough for me right now and it is very upsetting to see text messages of porn links daily.

I did set my phone to filter unknown senders and it didn't help

There's no possible way for Apple, or any cell phone maker to "fix" this. Anyone who has your number can send you messages. On top of that, the number they send from is almost certainly spoofed. The only way Apple could fix this is to block every phone number in the world. Which would of course make your phone useless as a phone or messaging device.

I have the same issue and also have Verizon as my provider. Did you have any luck calling them? Honestly this seems like it should be an Apple fix.

Forward the spam texts to 7726 (SPAM). This will notify your carrier of the problem and they can investigate.

No, there is no way for Apple to fix this. They are not a carrier. They are not reading the contents of your texts. And, even if they did, they wouldn't have anyway of knowing if these were texts you wanted or not.
