4k monitor and mac air

I have a MacBook Air m1 with 8gb ram. I was about to buy a 4k 27inch monitor and I was wondering if using the mac air as the device would be too much of a heavy task (displaying 4K) for the gpu/mac book air. Could it slow the computer down ? Should I go for a 1440p?

Which monitor should I buy for my Mac mini? Hello everyone I just bought a mac mini and still had a 1080p DELL brand monitor on my desk. I edit photos and videos in 4k. I knew I was going to buy another monitor, but there are so many 4k monitors on the internet. I see all the good comments under each monitor, but really don't know which one to buy. Monitor advice for Mac Mini M1 I'm ready to buy a mac mini M1 on sale now at Costco for 599. I need a monitor. Would the Samsung 32" Class 4K UHD Curved Monitor for $339 be a good choice? It's 4k, but only has HDMI not usb-C. I'd like to get a 32" 4K USB-C, but those seem to be very expensive. Any advice? I will use the computer for general documents, YouTube, and Netflix. Thanks.

My wife's new Dell U2720QM Ultrasharp 27" 4K IPS LED, USB-C Monitor works perfectly with her new Macbook Air M1. The monitor is beautiful - sharp, clear, bold colors. It is connected using the USB-C to USB-C cable that came with the monitor.

Apple states you should be able to run that display (up to 6K).
