Powerbeats Pro draining in case

If I leave the powerbeats pro in the case (case plugged in or not plugged into power) I normally find that the left earphone has drained to almost nothing even though the case is at 100% and the right earphone is at 100%. Even if I check beforehand that it is properly seated and charging while the case is open. Seems to be OK if you leave the case open. Have tried a reset. Earphones now out of warranty by a month but actually this has been going on for a while - just was a bit intermittent before. Have tried a reset but still have the issue. My wife has a set too and tried her case but still get the same issue. Any thoughts on how to fix? Annoying that when I come to use them the left earphone is almost always dead. Have to put it on charge by putting back in case and leaving open (which to be fair it does charge in about 15 mins to a good level.

Hello Geoffilmuro,

It sounds as though you're having issues charging the left Powerbeats Pro, and it only charges when the case is open. You've walked through some great troubleshooting steps by resetting the Beats, verifying the Beats are seated properly, and testing the Beats in a different case. With the issue continuing the next step that's recommended would be to verify that the Powerbeats Pro are clean. You can follow the steps outlined in the article below to clean your earbuds.

Clean your Powerbeats Pro

If the issue continues after cleaning the left Powerbeats Pro you would then want to contact Apple for additional support. You can find their contact details via the Get Support website.
