MacBook Air i3 is acting up.

I have a MacBook Air i3, one day the fans went haywire and the apps started crashing. Fearing a virus, I reseted to macOS Catalina. Now the apps are crashing even after a reset. Chrome webpages, WhatsApp, Spotify and Finder. All these apps are having issues. I restart the system and the status bar takes forever to appear. What can I do?

MacOS Catalina has so many problem Hello, I use my MacBook pro 13" 2018 and just update to mac os Catalina fews day ago. This new OS lead to many problem. Most applications cannot open for a while and show "The application xxx cannot open" but sometime the same app can open as normal. For example is Music app. As I start my MacBook it can be opened as normal. Then after working in Numbers for a while, I open the Music app again and it cannot be opened and show "The application Music cannot open". The same problem is happen with many applications too. Safari ALWAYS stop working and not respond. The system is stop working and I can't even 'force quit' or 'shutdown' my computer (need to push the power button to force shutdown). Anyone know how to fix such problems. Thanks

Apps Do Not Respond Until After Restart Experiencing intermittent issues when using macOS Monterey 12.6 on a Mac Pro (Late 2013). After a clean start-up or restart, none of the apps respond when clicked on. If an app is already open after start/restart, the menu bar can be activated but no menu items react to being selected. Have zapped the PRAM, reset the SMC, went into recovery mode and used disk utility to check the SSD, reinstalled OS, did clean install of OS and still no resolution to the problem.

Apps Constantly crahsing and macOS randomly rebooting. Overall state of macOS software unstable. Several apps are continuously crashing in my macOS, namely; WebKit and WebContent, Spark email client, Safari, WhatsApp Desktop and others more. The thing is, all my apps are up to date and I tried reinstalling macOS several times, but nothing does it. I downgraded from macOS Monterey 12.4 to macOS Catalina 10.15 (factory software). But it’s absolutely not fixing the problem. I’m suspecting the problem is related to the RAM or maybe some RAM files are corrupted, but I don’t know. Below I leave you a detailed Etrecheck report that I hope will be useful. Thanks for your help.

Sounds like it may be an SMC issue.

Try resetting your SMC this:
