Duplicated "Documents" under "iCloud Drive" and "Users" folder.

Hi guys!

When checking the storage of my MacBook today, I found the size of "iCloud Drive" and "Documents" are similar (as you could see in fig. 1). I wondered why and looked into it. After searching online, I found there were actually duplicated "Documents" folders under two locations on my hard drive (as shown in fig. 2).

The location of the "iCloud Drive" folder on the left side of figure 2 is located under "/Library/Mobile Documents". It has both a "Documents" folder with 88.06 GB and a "Documents" link.

The "Documents" link goes to the folder on the right side of figure 2, which is under "/Users/MY_USER_NAME", with the same 88.06 GB.

So it seems the "Documents" folders are using duplicated disk spaces on my hard drive. I checked my MacBook Pro, Mac Pro and Mac Mini and found all the iCloud drives on all of my Macs behaved so. I was wondering if it was designed to be functional as this or I am experiencing some issues. Is there any method to reduce the duplicated disk usage and save some space on my hard drive? Figure 3 is the setup of my iCloud Drive.
