Bluetooth glitches

My new iPhone 12 mini is glitching when playing music via Bluetooth on my 2014 Toyota Camry. My previous google pixel 3 never had any issues. I’ve tried resetting Bluetooth connections, forgetting all devices, renaming devices, and restarting the phone. Any other potential fixes? Also when I attempt use Siri in the car to play music or navigate to a destination, my car's display indicates that I’m making a call for a few seconds and the audio quality drops for a few seconds. My pixel did not do this and I was wondering if this is normal?

Hey there, Manny.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! Thanks for posting about the issues you've noticed with connecting your iPhone via Bluetooth with your vehicle's infotainment system. We'd be glad to see how we can help you out.

You've already taken a lot of great steps in an effort to get this solved. If you haven't already, we'd suggest verifying that the stereo head unit firmware is also fully updated, as that can be something that can affect connectivity. If you're unsure of how to do that, check your vehicle's owner's manual or contact the manufacturer for steps. If you're already updated, or if updating that firmware doesn't help, Get Support directly from Apple here for more assistance.

Take care.
