Ping noise to find my iphone useless

I don’t often misplace my phone. However, I had done so this morning. And so, I decided to use the location feature in my fancy new Apple Watch.

As a bit of background, I’ve been largely deaf in one ear for most of my life. I found the pinging noise cute, but utterly infuriating. The reverberating echo of the tone made it impossible for me to pinpoint where my phone was in the room.

Ultimately, I wound up turning everything over only to find that it had fallen off of the side of my nightstand. Meanwhile, I was checking clothes in the hamper and crawling under the bed because I was so confused by the ping noise.

If there is any way, could we please get the ability to change the noise or enable a flashing light for those of us with hearing issues? Any support for this idea?
