Anyway to get my notes back? I was using Preview. MacOS Big Sur.
Preview displays previously added notes as small text-free boxes. You must click on each box to expand it and reveal its text content.

Yesterday, I annotated a PDF with notes in the little yellow boxes. Today I am unable to see these notes. When I click View, Highlights and Notes, only the small yellow boxes are visible but not the text inside them.
