Hi. My alarm clock doesn't allow me to add a new alarm ou edit one. It simply crashes (minimizes the clock) when I push the + or the EDIT. Also in the calendar, when I try to add an event in any day, when I try to choose the hour, it crashes.
Can someone help me? Thanks.

You must be using Beirut time zone
go to general-settings-date & time- uncheck set automatically and use Cairo instead of Beirut
there seem to be a bug in the Beirut time zone
hii, i just fixed the same problem on my iphone 11 pro, just change the country from date and time , to another city that you know it has the same time as your city!
With the latest update (iOS 14.5) this problem is fixed, at least for me!

Although, there must be an iOS error, because it doesn't make sense.
I just turned off the automatic time and set the location to London, Lisbon, Madrid, and it always worked.
If I turn off the automatic time but set the location to my actual location, it simply doesn't work.
Strange, isn't it?
The automatic time function and the location are causing the error, so Apple should correct this asap.
It is completely stupid...
I am having the same issue, But in the meantime, you can use Siri to add an alarm just like I did until maybe apple fixes it with a software update

It’s the Beirut time zone that’s problematic. Not the first time, by the way, a similar bug happened around IOS 8 , had to wait for an update to fix it
The button above it, “Set Automatically” needs to be disabled to be able to manually set the time zone

well, nothing worked.
Both the clock and the calendar do the same thing: whenever I try to add an alarm (clock) or an event (when I click in the beggining hour) they crash (minimize automatically - not app closing).
LOL, I'm in the Azores Islands (in the middle of the north atlantic ocean). That said, I bought na iPhone so I could have a phone that would work well and would answer to my needs.
This is intended to work properly. It doesn't make sense (to me) that I have to fool my iPhone so that my alarm clock and calendar work!
It's ridiculous.
Adding to that, I now have to turn off the automatic time, so, when I travel, I have to, manually, set the time.
Do you think this makes sense in 2021?

I don’t think this is impacting Beirut time zone only, from reading other replies on this post.
Thanks for the workaround but Apple support should really be all over this to patch an IOS update as soon as possible.

But Apple should look into a permanent fix, i still see it as a bug, specially for people that travel to different countries and regions.
