I ordered 2 iMacs (built in China) August 4 and they arrived August 21 & 22.

27" iMac 3.8HGz I7 8-core, 8GB RAM and 1TB SSD with 5700XT graphics card. I ordered 32GB of RAM from OWC (macsales.com) and installed it myself. I was surprised that it started in Ireland then was shipped to London and then onto the US.

I bought mine with 8GB of RAM and upgraded to 40 GB using OWC RAM (2 x 16 GB DIMMS). If you decide to take this route, please install the original RAM in slots 1 & 2 (1 is the top slot, 2 is right below 1) and then add the upgraded RAM in slots 3 & 4. Why this method, easy.... you will get the fastest possible speed of 2666

Tough to say, it will arrive as quickly as possible. We have been buying a lot of stuff online and have seen delays in almost everything we order, every vendor (when asked) says it is due to the pandemic. So all we can do is be patient.

I always buy my Macs direct from Apple. I understand why many use Apple Stores or third party stores but I usually custom configure and prefer to order online direct. All my other Apple products (Apple TVs, iPhones, watch, iPads etc...) I generally buy where I can get the best deal. I just ordered another Apple TV 4K from Amazon this morning (it was discounted almost $30 which is really unusual) to replace one of my Apple TV 3s. That is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

Garden, mine actually came from Ireland. I'm in the US. It took a couple of weeks this past fall.
