how to update payment info

I-phone says there's an active subscription on my old/ cancelled credit card. So it won't allow me to remove and update with new card. Any ideas? Thank you.

Specifically, put the new card in before removing the old one. Subscriptions aren't tied to any particular card, but you'll need to have one on file.
