Hardware issue?
I received an apple ipad last Christmas as a gift. It was purchased on 12.20.19. It has died , 2.3.21. That makes it 46 days after the warranty expires. With my local genius bar we have discovered it is a hardware problem. This ipad sat in a case, on my kitchen counter and was used less than 2 hours a day. Generously that might be 1000 hours. (my last one lasted 8 years) A hardware issue is something they did? I used this ipad so minimally I cant believe its done. So disappointed I'm not sure what to do. They make an offer for $249. and a 90 day warranty, or just buy a new one $329. with a year warranty and the chance to purchase apple's protection monthly. Seems like this is a scam. I have all Apple products, and feel really discouraged and I'm not sure I really want to invest any more money with them. If I buy a new one I can't help but think that it will only last until March of 2022?
