Apple Watch won't activate with AT&T Cellular

My new Apple watch 6 SE will not connect with AT&T cellular. Error code: ERR0093-WS, I have called AT&T eight times, each call lasting 3 to 4 hours long. No help. I get a case started and nobody gets back to me. I also have gone to Best Buy twice and the AT&T store once. They said it is a back-end problem but if you look it up this has been as issue for years with no solution. So I spent extra money to get a watch with cellular that I can't use. I also have to either cancel my cellular plan with AT&T or else call every month to not get charged for a service that does not work. Ridiculous.

I've seen this before and it seems to be an AT&T issue. I've also not seen a resolution for it yet either. I've got an Apple Watch series 6 and my AT&T cellular works just fine. If AT&T cannot get it to activate, I would just disable the cellular so you are not paying for it. You can still use the Watch to do a number of things as long as the paired iPhone is nearby. This is probably your best choice until they figure this problem out.
