Problems with retrieving calls on hold

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. We understand that after putting a call on hold, you're unable to take the call off of hold, and we'd be happy to provide you with the best steps.

Just to clarify, when you press and hold the Mute button to put the call on hold, you're seeing the Hold button underneath the Mute button flicker, is that correct? If so, does this issue occur after accepting a second incoming call?
