Need to update to Catalina

i am running on High Sierra, when i try to install Catalina it gives me this error; this disk is used for time machine backups, this is my Mac HD- i need badly to install Catalina so that i can update my softwares

I would recommend that you call AppleCare, they can screen share with you and help you get the download started. If you are in the USA the number is (800) 275-2273, if you are outside the USA please use the following link to find the number in your country.
