macbook air 11.2.1 charging issue

A feature introduced into Big Sur was to preserve the number of Full Battery Cycles - there was an Algorithm coded into the macOS. It is perfectly Normal for Big Sur to Pause / Suspend charging the battery beyond 80% and hold it at that level. One can nudge / over-ride this by clicking the Battery Icon on Desktop Top Bar and allow charging beyond 80%. From observations, it will Pause / Suspend again once reading 90%. Same procedure to over-ride and will charge to 100%

Got exactly the same issue as above, had the adapter charging issue before and after the update (11.2.1) it only got worse! What is Apple doing with once so nice and trustful OS and machines. Running a Quad Core i7 2018 MBP - I need to work not be busy with restarting and waiting to charge 🙅‍♂️

Well dont know what you understand by 'hijack' but it's not 'dissatisfaction'? Did I say that, I said this issue is bothering me badly and more issues that came up lately is not a feeling or some, it are facts. Thanks for the info anway. Any solution?

Thank that's not it thank you. It's as above, it just won't charge. I'm a power user know the Mac inside out, most wise seems to downgrade to prev OS or maybe Linux as I dont trust Mac much anymore.
