Macbook profile picture won't change

Hey everybody...

I have a MacBook Air from 2018. After I updated it to macOS Big Sur, I could not change my profile picture on the startscreen. When I turned my computer on, my profile picture had changed, to the one I have on iCloud. I then changed it to the one I wanted, on settings, but the profile picture from iCloud, was still there on the startscreen, when I turned my computer on again. I have tried to change my profile picture on iCloud to the one I want, and on contacts, but it still does not work. Can anyone please help, cause it really bothers me. Thank you in advantages :-)

We understand that you are unable to change the user login picture on your Mac. We’d like to help however we can.

To start, are you following the steps outlined here to change the user login picture?

If you navigate to the Apple menu > System Preferences > Users & Groups, does it show the correct picture or the incorrect picture?

Are you using FileVault on your Mac?

Use FileVault to encrypt the startup disk on your Mac

Are you able to change the desktop picture without issue and does this picture show in the background of the login screen when you start up your Mac?
