My airpods say connected on my iphone but the sound comes through my phone not my airpods when in my ear
Why don't my airpods play the sound when they say connected to my phone?

Hello,
Try this:
1) Open the Control Center
2) Long press on the music controls
3) Select the output option (little up-arrow with circles)
4) Select AirPods
