Sudden typing issues throughout my 6s plus

any time i type in any application on my 6s plus cellphone phone, there is no capitalization of leading letters following punctuation or the word “I”. this appeared.

Random edit insertions make typing impossible! When editing, if I move the cursor to insert a word, the iPad automatically makes it uppercase. Really annoying and time consuming to correct this! My iPad inserts periods and capital letters in my text. This seems to happen after a longer session of ongoing typing. It becomes impossible to type and revise constantly. Please help! I saw similar questions by others that were not answered. Surely, others are having a similar problem. What can I do? Thank you.

‘i’ always capitalised I’m suddenly having an issue while using Word, with the magic keyboard on my ipad, where ‘i’ will always be capitalised if I’m starting a new word, so in ends up In, and in the middle of a sentence it’s not right. It doesn’t seem to be anywhere else, just when using Word. I’ve turned auto-capitalisation off and tried hitting shift a few times before typing but that only seems to work sometimes. I just really need a fix for this.

iPad Air onscreen typing is glitchy Typing onscreen is abysmal on the iPad Air. Is there a patch for this? I have rebooted and updated the IOS and it’s not making it better. It randomly rotates the following issues during use throughout the day … - Text freezes on the screen only option is to select all, copy, paste then star typing again; - it won’t accept spell check options; - it will randomly just start adding a double spacing between every word that is typed…for entire paragraphs; - it will not auto capitalize consistently; -it will add additional characters to words until the entire word is deleted and then retyped; -it autocorrects words AFTER the sentence is completed -doesn’t depend on the app…does it in Firefox, safari, twitter, search fields, etc. when will these issues be fixed?

Hello Stefani,

Double check something. Open Settings ➔ General ➔ Keyboard: Here ensure that the following switches, shown in the images below, are set to ON.
