Group Text On iPhone11, Phone Keeps Muting Alerts on a Thread

I’m still having the same problem. I’ve tried all the suggested solutions and my group message thread still keeps going on mute.

Same here. I don’t have an Apple Watch. It’s just doing it in my iPhone but not my iPad. 🤷‍♀️

I'm having this same issue and I've already reset my phone and watch twice! It's so annoying.

I’m glad that fixed it, but that is an unacceptable solution for something that Apple should fix. Especially, considering the prices we pay for our devices.

Same.... and I noticed it started happening after my recent update on my phone. Can’t be sure if it was exactly aligned with that action, but it seems like it.

Why has apple not fixed this???? Do they ignore issues or what?

Yeah. It’s pretty frustrating. I reset my settings a few days ago to resolve the issue and I’m STILL updating things here and there. =/

Just purchased my first iPhone. My text message alerts continue to go to Mute even though I don't touch the off/on Mute symbol. Why does this happen?

That’s happening to me as well and I don’t have an Apple Watch. Was hoping the last update would fix it, but nope!

I’m having this issue too on my brand new iPhone 12 Pro Max :( this is really frustrating and I do NOT want to reset my phone. I did just do an update so I’m guessing it’s that.

I’m following all your instructions and my phone and watch continue to silent the same group chat. Please give other suggestions besides resetting my phone.

I have tried the karina184 solution multiple times and it is not getting solved - this is clearly a bug and I would like it addressed instead of ignored

Hello i have tried that multiple times and it isnt working. All of my other messages dont do this its just this groupchat im in and its quite irritating. Please help me please and thank you.
