iOS/iPadOS does not support connection of optical media drives. As such, direct access to optical media (CD, DVD, BD) is not possible.

You’ll need to access this material using another computer, such as PC or Mac, that support optical media.

If using a PC or Mac with iTunes installed, you’ll be able to import (rip) music from your CDs to your iTunes Music library - and from there you can synchronise your iTunes Music library with your iPad.

There are accessories that can be connected via USB-C to an iPad Pro, but an optical drive (CD/DVD drive) isn't one of them.
