I cannot add bookmarks to safari. I’ve searched many posts but I can’t fix this. I go to setting - safari - favorite and no favorite folder inside that. In safari there is no favorites folder either.
I tried adding new folders but it does not work. I almost tried everything but still doesn't do anything. I hope someone has a solution for me.

If you're already running the most up-to-date version of iOS (14.4 at the time of this post), you may need to consider reinstalling iOS on your device. THis is because Safari can't be deleted and reinstalled on its own. While this shouldn’t affect any data stored on the iPhone, it would be a good idea to make sure you’ve got a backup in place:

Once you’ve successfully backed up your device, follow these steps to reinstall iOS, making sure to choose “Update” when prompted:

Thank you for your reply, but that is the problem. I still don’t see any bookmarks if I follow that article. I think the problem is that I can’t make any folders and that the favorites folder is gone.
In this picture you can see what I see in safari settings.
This is not normal because you should see at least one folder with the star: favorites.
