Logged in to Safari, got a pop-up from apple support. Is it real? The URL is mac-apple.site and they gave me a case ID which I wrote down . They said to contact apple support for a security and malware issue.

I asked how I would know they are real, and the support chat disappeared.

I closed Safari and switched to Firefox.

No, such messages are scams from criminals. Do not interact with the message or the sender.
