Find My Phone-Alert Sound Not Playing on Iphone SE-Vibrate Only

Anybody know how to turn the Alert to "Find My Phon" back on?

What has changed now that my Find My Phone, when activated on iCloud, does not emit the piercing sonar sound which allows the phone to be found, even if it's in Silent Mode? It only vibrates.

It is working when activated on my other devises.

This is the first time it's happened to me, although Apple has questions from users here, with no solution.

Anybody know how to turn the Alert to Find My Phone back on my iPhone SE?

Hi Prosper,

It looks like you are trying to play a sound on a lost iPhone, however you're only seeing a vibration and not hearing the sound. Making sure the sound is played properly allowing you to locate a lost iPhone is essential. We're glad you reached out for help.

The resource below will offer some steps to walk through to play the sound on your device: Play a sound on a device with Find My iPhone on iCloud.com.

If those are the steps you're using, but you're still not hearing the sound, try restarting your iPhone and attempt to play the sound again.

You may also want to check for any available updates for your iPhone: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. You'll want to have a current backup prior to updating.

If you're still unable to hear the sound when locating your iPhone, please let us know if you're able to hear other sounds from your iPhone, such as notifications and incoming calls.

We hope this helps. Have a good day!
