Hello Unicorn_1720,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. From your message it sounds like you want to be sure that when you reset the AirPods you've purchased second hand that your location will not be visible to the previous owner.

If this is correct, this article provides information on how long AirPods will report their last known location while they are paired to an iPhone which has Find My iPhone enabled: How to find your lost AirPods, AirPods Pro, or AirPods Max. Since Find My works with the Apple ID of the device which the AirPods are paired with, once they are paired to your iPhone they would only be visible from your Apple ID, if you also have Find My iPhone enabled.

When your AirPods are reset, the settings are reset to the original "out of box" state. This includes information about the device that it is paired with. You'll find more information on how to reset the AirPods, how to adjust the settings, and how to connect and use your AirPods in the articles below:

All the best.
