Is there a way of copying DVDs onto my iMac?

hi all, i have a couple of favourite music "concert" dvd's and was wondering is there a way of copying them onto my i mac as i would like to take them on holiday with me.any help would be greatly appreciated

I used disk utility to copy them to my MacBook reformatting them to dvd/cd master format - I then copied them to the external hard drive. I have only done 3 dvds so far but when I go back to see if they can play from the external hard drive using the DVD player on my MacBook -- only one plays no matter which one I select. what have I done wrong? thank you for any help!!

DVD copy program I have a MacBook Air and an external blue ray player. I am trying to fin a program to copy DVD movies to blank DVDs. I cannot find one. Any suggestions?
