Changing side screen to full screen

I’ve asked Suri a dozen times and I’m not able to locate the answer to this. How do I get rid of the slide in page from the right from Chrome Google and it come up in normal size. I’m not computer illiterate nor am I am whiz. I’ve gone through a few of the setting myself looking thinking I could find it but no can do. I literally wore my Air 2 out so my husband got me the 4th generation 256 which I am loving. But I do not like that small screen from the right. How do I change it to full screen.

Preview, Slide-over and Split-view are also multitasking features of iPadOS, fully detailed in the iPad User Guide for iPadOS.


Here is the easy way to change the Slide Over view, to full screen... 


Identify the small grey drag-bar at top-centre of the Slide Over window. Touch-and-drag the drag-bar to the top-centre of the screen - and lift your finger; the Slide Over window will transform into a full screen view.
