workouts occasionally pause

I have experienced workouts pausing with the 'gear' spinning. I have 900+ MB download speed and the Apple TV is only 10 feet from me during the workout

Before you post a generic answer - My phone and watch are up to date and I’m very familiar with the set up and instructions from Apple site. Restarting devices does not fix it. It happens when my phone is connected to the tv via a cable. It runs ok when I just do it on my phone. Peloton app doesn’t have that problem with the same phone and cable connection, so it has to be something with the app. It’s getting too frustrating.

Apple fitness, freezing Apple fitness is freezing midway through every workout. I’ve read the answers in the support group. I am just using my regular TV. I am plugging my phone into the HDMI port and playing my Apple fitness that way. Not sure resetting Apple TV solves my problem. I would like some help fixing this. It’s been happening for well over a year. Thank you.

Video freezes and I lose the workout Nearly every time I workout, the video freezes for about 2 minutes... multiple times. Not only does this end up lengthening my workout by 10 minutes or more in the end, but sometimes it never recovers and I TOTALLY lose the workout b/c it ends prematurely. Then I start another workout only to have the same issue. I do not have this problem with the Peloton app so it’s not my internet connection. I was considering a yearly membership to Apple Fitness but not if this is how it’s going to be. Also, when I cast to Apple TV, the screen is black with only sound. Very frustrating because I don’t want to do the app on a small phone.
